Civil Engineer

FTI Group Pty Ltd is an Australian owned company operating in the prefabricated and preformed formwork industry. We strive every day to make our customers’ builds faster, simpler and safer and design and manufacture every product in our Australian factory. Our Fast Tread stairs and other prefabricated formwork systems now feature in over 1,000 buildings, including many landmark ones, across Australia and internationally.

We are now seeking for a full-time Civil Engineer to join our team in Goulburn.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Analysing and reviewing architectural and structural drawings relating to stairs, landings, beams, and slabs, to prepare plans and cost estimates.
2. Developing shop drawings of the formwork based on the data gathered and assessing project specifications in detail to ensure compliance with National Construction Code of Australia.
3. Liaising with project managers and clients to ensure projects are approved for construction.
4. Determining construction methods and materials to be used and organising site labour.
5. Assisting construction managers in organising delivery of construction materials and equipment including on-site coordination.
6. Collaborating with clients by providing comments/solutions to their queries
7. Delivering final formwork design for construction and delivery to client and ensuring project requirements have been met in full and in compliance with industry standards.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications at Bachelor level or higher0
• At least 1 year of work experience in the field

Salary $80,000
