Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dedicated Dental Specialist to join our team at Sydney Dental Hospital!

The primary purpose of the role is to provide advanced specialist Endodontics dental services at Sydney Dental Hospital and Oral Health Services including provision of clinical services as per the MoH List Management protocols and Specialist Referral Guidelines. Leading teaching programs, quality improvement and research activities and assisting in ensuring that the Department of Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Endodontics meets all requirements for Accreditation of SDH/ Oral Health Service against National and other standards.

The Dental Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.

The successful applicant will be a Dental practitioner currently, registered or eligible for specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Dental Specialist in Endodontics and or equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Health Employees Dental Officers (STATE) Award.
