Job Title

Immigration Consultant

Knowledge and Skills

• A solid knowledge of immigration law and experience working in the industry
• Have proven success in positive outcomes for immigration clients
• To have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy standards
• Be a positive team player who is open to change and out of the box thinking
• Have outstanding communication skills and technical writing; and
• Have a proven track record of being able to drive, and close sales

Key Responsibilities

• Developing commercially-sound immigration strategies and plans, and managing casework from initiation to completion to deliver upon agreed client strategies
• Leading customer service delivery for a portfolio of clients.
• Handling enquiries and client instructions according to agreed service levels
• Using commercial acumen and technical knowledge to provide high value, differentiated services
• Coach and mentor a team of migration consultants and legal administrators
• Maintaining a confident knowledge of migration law, policy and industry trends, and contributing your knowledge within the team
• Identifying new business opportunities, conducting research on prospective clients, pitching the law firms services in meetings with prospects and partners
• Preparing briefing papers, updates on legal issues and other content for business development or marketing purposes.
• Attendance at events such as webinars, face-to-face workshops, business development meetings

What you bring to the table

• At least 2-year experience in the industry.

• MARA agent

• Excellent time management and organisation skills and an ability to prioritize tasks necessary to running a fast-moving and high-volume practice.

• A keen interest in further developing technical skills in the field of migration law and policy.

Location: Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide

Work requirement: Must have full working rights in Australia.
