Are you an experienced Dental Assistant looking for a long-term role in a quality focused practice where patient care genuinely comes first?

DR Dental is an established South Yarra practice providing general, cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. We are looking for two experienced Dental Assistants to join our friendly and supportive clinical team.

• Full-time position with a 3-day weekend every week

• Part-time position with a 4-day weekend every week

This is a chair side dental assisting role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a quality-focused clinical environment and providing outstanding support to both patients and clinicians.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing chair side assistance during a range of dental procedures

• Preparing treatment rooms before each appointment

• Maintaining exceptional infection control standards

• Sterilising instruments in accordance with current guidelines

• Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentation using Dental4Windows

• Supporting patients throughout every stage of their treatment journey

• Assisting with digital photography and other clinical procedures as required

• Ensuring surgeries are well stocked and prepared for each day

• Working collaboratively with our clinical team to ensure the practice runs smoothly

We're looking for someone who is friendly, professional, and genuinely enjoys caring for patients.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Dental Assistant

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Outstanding organisational and time management abilities

• Strong attention to detail

• The ability to multitask while remaining calm in a busy environment

• A positive, proactive attitude, and willingness to support the team wherever needed

• Experience with Dental4Windows (D4W) is highly regarded

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate

• Love building genuine relationships with patients

• Enjoy dental assisting and providing exceptional clinical support

• Take pride in delivering outstanding patient care

• Are reliable, punctual, and well presented

• Have high standards of infection control

• Are proactive and enjoy taking initiative

• Enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team

• Minimum 3 years' dental assisting experience
