Psychologist - Registered/Provisional - Assessment/Therapy

About the role

Meraki Allied Health is a community-based Psychology, Counselling, Social Worker, PBS and Assessment provider. You will provide Psychological services and Assessment services (Autism, ADHD, Cognitive Assessments) to NDIS and private paying clients. For Registered Psychologists, there is also room to explore service provision for MHCP clientele. For applicants with existing PBS registration and experience, you may also choose to provide PBS services. Whilst Meraki has a focus on working with children and their caregivers, you will also work with adolescents and adults as per demand. This is a hybrid role where you will work with the client and their support systems in various environments including their home, school and telehealth, though primarily within the Secret Harbour office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide psychological services and assessment services (Autism, ADHD, Cognitive Assessments)

• Service NDIS and private paying clients

• Work with clients and their support systems in various environments including their home, school and telehealth

• Client note taking and report writing, including assessment and diagnostic reports

• NDIS progress reports

• Recommendation letters

• Behaviour support plans (optional PBS work)

About you

• Strong work ethic, focus on clients, and values a strengths-based approach to therapy

• Comfortable working independently and with autonomy

• Experience working with Neurodiverse clients

• Experience working with children

• NDIS experience

• AHPRA Registration (Registered or Provisional)

• Must have a drivers license and vehicle with appropriate insurances

• WWCC or willing to obtain

• Registration as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner within the NDIS Commission Framework (desired, not essential)
