Mobilise runs innovative programs such as Mobilise Kickstarter, Mobilise Matched, Mobilise Pay, and Mobilise Employment, all aimed at delivering practical pathways out of crisis. Backed by the Paul Ramsay Foundation and Melbourne University, Mobilise contributes to global evidence on direct cash transfers and invites individuals, businesses, and governments to help scale a proven model that works.
Role Description The Programs Administration Intern will support the smooth day-to-day running of Mobilise's direct giving programs, all aimed at helping people facing or at risk of homelessness in Australia. This role will provide administrative and program implementation support, helping ensure our programs run smoothly and reach the people who need them.
Key accountabilitiesThis role will be a key support to the running of our Direct Giving programs that are the first and only of their kind in Australia. This role will:
Support the day-to-day implementation of Mobilise's direct giving programs.Provide administrative support across program operations, including data entry and general administrative tasks.Correspond with charity partners and clients via phone and email, helping respond to enquiries and support smooth program delivery.Review and process incoming referrals across our programs.Maintain accurate records across our systems, including Salesforce and Excel.
RequirementsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with staff, charity partners, and clients.A genuine connection to Mobilise's mission to solve homelessness in Australia.Attention to detail and ability to create high-quality work.Willingness to learn and a growth mindset.Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.Basic proficiency with CRM or spreadsheet tools (e.g. Salesforce, Excel)Can contribute to a team culture that is Relentless, Fun, Compassionate and Courageous.Ability to attend the office 2-3 days per week (flexible arrangements available).Commitment for minimum 3 months (6+ months preferred).
