Chefs/Cooks of all levels

Peterson House Group is looking for casual chefs of all levels and Apprentices to work across all venues. Including Peterson House Restaurant Cuvee  & Weddings as well as Blaxland Inn Steak House.

The right candidates must have a passion for working with seasonal ingredients and a desire to deliver the best experience to our customers. A strong work ethic is a must and be available to work breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts.

About us

Restaurant Cuvee and Functions are our award winning venues that operate up to 7 days a week. Restaurant Cuvee is open for breakfast and lunch only 7 days, famous for our Bubbly Breakfast and our take on modern Australian cuisine.

Our award winning Weddings and Functions hosts multiple events per week ranging from 50-300 guests up to 7 days a week.

Blaxland Inn, which is the premium steak house of the Hunter Valley. Its restaurant is open seven days a week for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Famous for our house smoked meats, range of steaks and our home made pies.

About You

• A desire to deliver the best customer experience

• Prepare ingredients, recipes and menu items to the standards required

• Work closely with other team members

• Willingness to put input into menus and specials

• Have good communication

What we need from you

• Relevant Experience as Chef/Cook

• Apprentices - No experience needed but willing to study.

• Food Knowledge

• A great work ethic

• Ability to work in fast paced kitchens

• Must have a valid drivers licence, or a reliable way to work

• Weekend work essential, including nights

• To be based within 60km of the Hunter Valley
