About the Role

We’re looking for a Sales & Service Assistant to join our Melbourne team and play a key role in creating an outstanding student experience.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same — you’ll be the friendly face at the front desk, supporting residents, helping drive sales enquiries, assisting with events and engagement, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering an amazing student experience – greeting students and visitors, supporting welfare needs, and building a welcoming atmosphere
Supporting events and engagement aligned with Yugo’s pillars: YugoEco, YuPro and YuGrow
Managing communications with residents and prospective students, and following up enquiries to support bookings and conversions
Assisting with administration including check-ins/outs, tenancy documentation, arrivals, office systems, and daily front-of-house support
Supporting building operations such as logging maintenance, coordinating contractors, and helping ensure the building is safe and compliant
Handling payments and reports including purchase orders, rent collection support, refunds, and end-of-month reporting
Supporting security procedures including key card management, ID checks and incident logging

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an administrative role
Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online systems/databases
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
Proactive problem-solver with initiative and a “get it done” attitude
Resilient, adaptable, and culturally aware

Desirable (But Not Essential)

⭐ Experience in student accommodation
⭐ Hospitality or customer service background

Roster & Flexibility

This role operates on a rotating 7-day roster, so availability across weekdays and weekends is required.
