About the role
Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN)
Term of the Contract: 3 years (in line with clause 55 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement). At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to assist find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3-year contract, if necessary.

About the Role
Join CALHN as a Trauma & Surgical Oncology Fellow and deliver high quality, patient focused care within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. You’ll coordinate complex care, support service improvement and help build capability through teaching, supervision and research.
• Deliver safe, responsive trauma and oncology care
• Coordinate referrals, admissions, transfers and discharge
• Partner with clinical teams across hospital services
• Guide junior medical staff through teaching and support
• Build trust with patients, families and community doctors
About You
You are a skilled medical professional who leads with empathy, sound judgement and a strong commitment to collaborative patient care.
• Hold an MBBS or equivalent registrable qualification
• Bring clinical skills suited to trauma and surgical oncology
• Lead, supervise and support junior medical staff
• Resolve concerns through sound negotiation and judgement
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and colleagues
