Trades Assistant

We are currently seeking a Trades Assistant to join our modern workshop in Lynbrook. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful and growing company.

Job Purpose:
​​​​​This is a workshop based role, requiring the Trades Assistant to assemble and inspect engine packages consisting of pumps, industrial and marine power plants based on customer demand. 

To perform this role the applicant will be required to follow build instructions and ensure attention to detail is achieved and we meet our quality assurance benchmarks. 

Job Description:      
The general purpose and primary focus of the Trades Assistant role should be, but not be limited to, as follows:

1. To assemble and install accessory parts onto new engine packages (referred to as a build)  which are then dispatched as a turn key product to the customer or end user. 

2. Follow build processes to ensure that the assembly procedures are checked off against the build sheet.   

3. Assist with moving inwards and outwards of parts and product as required.  

4. Undertake all other tasks as requested by the Workshop Supervisor/Engineering Manager.  

5. Attend toolbox meetings, follow OHS protocols, and must be safety focused.
