This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of multimillion-dollar resort developments within a vertically integrated ASX-listed business. Working closely with Senior Development Managers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, you'll help drive projects through critical delivery phases, ensuring quality outcomes, program objectives, and commercial success.

As a Development Manager at GemLife, you will:

• Manage the delivery of resort development projects through the pre-construction phase and into construction delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, service authorities, and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinate project teams to ensure program, budget, quality, and compliance requirements are achieved.
• Assist in identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks while providing regular project reporting and recommendations to key stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

• A degree in Property, Construction, Architecture, Engineering, Town Planning, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in development management, property development, project management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of development delivery processes, including planning, approvals, consultant management, and construction interfaces.
• Experience managing consultants, contractors, authorities, and other external stakeholders.
• Sound commercial acumen with exposure to project budgets, feasibility considerations, and development contracts.
• Knowledge of Queensland planning, development approval, and construction processes.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Availability to travel to projects as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and management of project budgets, programs, and delivery outcomes.
• Coordinate consultants and project teams throughout the pre-construction phase to ensure project readiness.
• Manage project approvals and liaise with responsible authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare project reports, recommendations, and supporting documentation for executives and internal approval processes.
• Support tendering, procurement, and consultant engagement processes.
• Monitor project risks, budgets, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring issues are identified and addressed proactively.
• Work closely with construction and operational teams to facilitate seamless project delivery and handover.
