The opportunity

With the company currently experiencing an exciting phase of significant growth into new airports and regions, our delivery teams will be expanding for additional contracts at Western Sydney Airport. ADB Safegate Pty Ltd is looking for experienced, licensed maintenance electricians to join our small, close-knit Western Sydney team and be part of the future of airfield lighting in Australia.

Working at a developing airport like Western Sydney offers an exceptional range of opportunities throughout its growth and evolution, providing exposure to new technologies and ongoing development projects. As the airfield becomes operational, rotating rosters and the possibility of shiftwork may be introduced in the near future to support live airfield operations, ensuring a dynamic and flexible working environment. In addition to a unique work opportunity, ADB Safegate will be able to pay our electricians above the award rate for work performed in electrician-specific roles.

The successful candidate will be working on our current contractual jobs in NSW with the potential for possible future work at our other job sites across Australia.

Your new role

We would love to hear from you if you have airfield lighting experience, (highly regarded but not mandatory). For those who have not worked on an airfield before, our team is ready to provide comprehensive training on the specific contract procedures and installation methods.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining airfield lighting systems, docking guidance systems, high mast lighting, and MAG signs, ensuring safe and efficient operations on site.

You will bring 

• A valid NSW electrical license

• Must hold a white card (OHS CARD)

• EWP license (above and below 11M)

• working at heights certification

• In date CPR, first aid & low voltage rescue training

• A valid driver's license

• Airfield lighting experience preferred, but not mandatory

• A self-starter with a positive and proactive approach

• Great team player and ability to operate autonomously 

• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work

• Healthy attitude and great work ethic

• Committed to meeting deadlines
