National Serology Reference Laboratory (NRL) is a global leader in the science of quality for infectious disease testing. As a division of St Vincent's Institute of Medical Research (SVI), NRL works with laboratories, healthcare providers and public health organisations in more than 70 countries to ensure testing results are accurate, reliable and consistent. Through its quality assurance programs, evaluation services, specialised testing, training and consultancy, NRL plays a critical role in supporting high-quality infectious disease testing and improving health outcomes worldwide.
NRL operates from the St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne campus in Fitzroy and a molecular donor screening laboratory in Notting Hill. The division is internationally recognised for its scientific and technical expertise, including designation as a World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre and WHO In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Prequalification Evaluation Laboratory. Through research, innovation and collaboration, NRL continues to advance the quality and performance of infectious disease testing.
THE ROLE
NRL is seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications Specialist to join the Customer Engagement team on a full-time, ongoing basis.
The role will coordinate NRL's marketing communications, including social media channels and the website, and continually improve communications in line with NRL's brand strategy.
Key responsibilities include developing and managing content across NRL's digital channels, supporting marketing activities and campaigns, events, managing social media communities, and developing marketing collateral. The role will also support internal stakeholders with marketing communications and branding requirements, while providing customer engagement support through phone, email and other communications, including CRM and order entry activities.

The successful candidate will have:
To be considered for this ongoing role, you will be required to provide evidence you have permanent or temporary rights to work full time in Australia. You will also be asked to supply a nationally coordinated police clearance before commencing.
SALARY: $76,814 - $85,645 per annum, plus 12% superannuation. Salary applied will be dependent upon successful candidates' current level, experience and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, we offer up to $15,900 FBT exempt salary packaging and up to $2,650 FBT exempt meals and entertainment packaging.
