About the Role

We are growing and we want YOU! We currently have a fulltime opportunity available for an experienced Senior Human Resources Officer at our Liverpool office.

To ensure a suitable match, only candidates with demonstrated generalist HR experience will be progressed. Applicants whose background is predominantly in recruitment or talent acquisition will not be shortlisted.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting and supporting employees and managers with HR enquiries, tasks and responsibilities within your dedicated region.
• Preparing contracts and formal documentation, liaising with managers and key stakeholders and onboarding new employees.
• Entering and maintaining employee data in the payroll and HRIS systems (CHRIS / ELMO)
• Leading and coordinating complaint and issue investigations, ensuring a fair and legal process is followed and process and outcome documented.
• Active involvement and mentoring in disciplinary matters and performance management.
• HR Administration; including maintaining electronic personnel files, documentation and onboarding preparations.
• Actively contribute to supporting the growth and progress of the business whilst positively supporting the business perception of the HR Team.
• Project work on an ad hoc basis. 

Candidates must possess the following skills & experience:  

• 5+ years previous experience in a similar role for a multi-site business environment.
• Intermediate computer skills & excellent administration skills.
• Well-developed communication skills, professional manner and appreciation of sensitive information.
• Strong ability to manage and achieve multiple tasks and responsibilities within the prescribed timeframes.
• The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination.
