Position Title: OHS Specialist - Violence Prevention
Classification: HS5, Allied Health or Nursing Classification dependent on qualifications and experience
Salary per fortnight (exc. super): $3,714.26 - $4,680.60
Hours per fortnight: 76
Employment Status: Fixed Term Full Time (until January 2028)
Other requirements: 2026 Flu Vaccination

The OHS Specialist – Violence Prevention role is focused on enhancing the management and control of occupational violence and aggression risks across Bendigo Health.
This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, leadership and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Reporting to the Director of Occupational Health and Safety, you will also partner closely with educators, security staff, health and safety representatives, as well as clinical leaders to ensure a comprehensive understanding, assessment, and control of organisational violence and aggression risks. The role will provide subject matter expertise and lead innovation to strengthen the prevention strategy for workplace violence and aggression, improving the organisational capability in managing behaviours of concern (BOC) across all patient groups, fostering a culture of safety throughout the health service.
