About the Opportunity

We are looking for experienced and passionate Female Support Workers to work in Glengowrie, South Australia.

Experience with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Stoma Care and Manual Handling (Lifter & Hoist) is highly regarded. Candidate also must be ok to be around Cats.

Please note, due to the participant's background, Female Support Workers are only required for this position. This is recognised as a genuine discrimination exemption and occupation qualification and is authorised under (Part 3; Division 2 - Discrimination against workers; Section 34 – Exemptions (2) of the SOUTH AUSTRALIA Equal Opportunity Act 1984).

Required Support Times:

Monday-Friday: 7am-9am & 8pm-10pm

Saturday & Sunday: 7:30am-9:30am & 8pm-10pm

Also, potential for other shifts with other Participants.

About You

In addition to our values, our support staff require mandatory compliance:

• Female Only Support Workers Required

• Willing to accept 2 Hour Shifts

• Experience with Stoma Care and Manual Handling highly regarded.

• Relevant qualification (minimum Certificate III in Disability or related industry)

• 6 months or more experience as a Support Worker.

• Driver’s Licence & Car with Comprehensive Insurance.

• NDIS Worker Screening Check.

• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.

• Manual Handling Certificate or willing to obtain.

• Medication Administration Certificate or willing to obtain.

• Flexible availability & commitment to an ongoing roster of support.
