About the role
Support high-value legal, property, transaction and divestment projects in a dynamic private business environment.
We're looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Legal Support Officer to join our Legal team. You'll play a key role in keeping complex projects organised, progressing transactions and ensuring critical business information is accurate and readily available. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of legal, commercial, property and compliance matters, while working closely with business leaders and external advisers.
You'll be involved in real business projects, transactions and operational matters that directly contribute to the organisation's success.
What You'll Do
Prepare, review and manage legal and commercial documentation.
Coordinate contract execution, document management and record-keeping processes.
Maintain legal registers, compliance trackers and reporting tools.
Support property, leasing and land-related administration.
Compile and analyse property, valuation and transaction information for reporting purposes.
Assist with due diligence activities, transactions and business projects.
Monitor key dates, approvals and compliance requirements.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, consultants and external advisers.
Prepare reports, summaries and supporting documentation for decision-making.
About You
You'll be someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys working through detail and takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes. You are proactive, commercially minded and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful, you'll have:
Experience as a Paralegal, Assistant or similar support role.
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written communication and document preparation skills.
Ability to work across multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong judgement, commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
A high level of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
An interest in property, transactions or commercial projects.
A continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to delivering quality work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
Qualifications in, or currently studying, Law, Legal Studies or a related discipline will be highly regarded (but not essential).
