About the PositionAn opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior Associate to join a highly regarded Corporate/M&A practice as part of the team's continued growth.Working directly with leading partners, you will play a key role on high-value M&A transactions. You will be given meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to take a lead role on transactions.This position is ideally suited to a Senior Associate seeking more visibility, greater responsibility, and a clearer pathway to partnership than may be available in a larger team structure.

DutiesIn the role, you will:Advise on M&A transactionsAct on strategic investment dealsAssist with transaction structuring and negotiationsDraft and negotiate key transaction documentsManage client relationships and work directly with key stakeholdersMentor and develop junior lawyers within the teamSupport business development and profile-building initiatives
QualificationsWe are seeking someone with:Approximately 5-9 years' PAE in Corporate/M&AExperience gained within a recognised corporate transactions practiceExposure to mergers and acquisitions and general corporate advisory mattersStrong knowledge of the Corporations ActStrong academics and technical legal ability
