Anaesthetic Healthcare Practitioner (Technician)

About the role

Deliver professional, patient-centred care within an evidence-based interdisciplinary healthcare environment. Using sound professional judgement, I work within established procedures, standards and guidelines to support safe, high-quality clinical practice. I also provide skilled assistance to the Anaesthetist to ensure the safe conduct of anaesthetic procedures across the organisation.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Prepare the anaesthetic environment and assist the Anaesthetist during all phases of anaesthesia
• Provide skilled assistance for all elective and emergent anaesthetic procedures
• Maintaining professional standards
• Participate in and contribute to educational activities held within the department
• Participate in education and training of Anaesthetic trainees and graduates.
