Rural Allied Health Western Hub / Allied Health Service Division / Charters Towers
Charters Towers Health Service is a 25-bed facility providing integrated acute and primary health care services through a range of programs including: community, child, youth and family, mental health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and outreach services.
Charters Towers is one of the most beautiful inland cities in Queensland, with its unrivalled architecture and unique history. Discover this enchanting outback town which is just an hour and a half west of Townsville.
About your opportunity
This position provides a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the Charters Towers region, whilst providing high-quality Speech Pathology services to the communities of Charters Towers, Hughenden and Richmond. This is an ideal opportunity to showcase your well-developed speech pathology clinical and service delivery skills in order to deliver evidence based, responsive and innovate Speech Pathology services to the acute, community, aged care and outreach settings.
Further to this, an HP3 to HP4 Rural Development Pathway is also available. As the successful candidate you will have the chance to build your skills under a formal pathway, completing an intensive development plan along the way. Upon successful completion of the development activities, you will have the chance to transition into a more Senior HP4 role, delivering complex, responsive and innovate Speech Pathology services to the acute, community, aged care and outreach settings.
