Family Doctor operates a 110+ and growing group of medical clinics across Australia. Our GP recruitment team is central to the business — every new clinic, every doctor placement, and every patient seen starts with the work this team does.

The Role

We're looking for a GP National Recruitment Specialist to own VR and non-VR doctor recruitment end to end: sourcing candidates (locally and internationally, including visa-sponsored GPs), managing the candidate pipeline through our recruitment platform, negotiating agreements, and coordinating placements with Practice Managers and clinics across the network.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and screen GP candidates across multiple channels — direct applications, referral networks, job boards and international recruitment pathways

• Manage the end-to-end candidate pipeline from first contact through offer, contracting and placement

• Prepare and negotiate tenancy agreements and offer letters

• Support visa-sponsored candidates through the immigration and AHPRA registration process

• Build and maintain relationships with Practice Managers to understand each clinic's staffing needs

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate and placement records in the recruitment CRM

• Report on recruitment pipeline health, time-to-placement and clinic coverage

What We're Looking For

• Experience in medical recruitment, ideally GP or specialist doctor recruitment

• Understanding of AHPRA registration, Medicare provider numbers and visa/immigration pathways for overseas-trained doctors (highly regarded)

• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills

• Comfortable working with a CRM/recruitment platform and managing a high-volume pipeline

• Excellent written communication
