Retail Shop Assistant

UMS are a well-established provider of school and professional uniforms, with multiple retail locations across Brisbane and surrounding areas. We are seeking a retail professional for a school uniform shop in Rochedale and surrounding suburbs.

The role is approximately 6 hours each week with more hours offered in peak periods. Ideally, you will float between our local stores.

This is a fast-paced role with plenty of variety and medium fitness level is required.

As a Casual Retail Assistant, you'll be the face of our store – helping customers find the right fit, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of service and presentation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers with product selection and fittings

• Operating the register and processing sales

• Restocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness

• Ensuring displays are neat and well-organised

• Packing online orders

• Supporting store teams during peak periods (e.g., back-to-school)

• Blue Card and Police Check will be required, which is funded from UMS for selected candidates.
