About Us
RL Building Supply is operated by Rui Long International Development Pty Ltd, a building and construction business based in Point Cook. We supply building materials and are also involved in plaster installation-related projects across Victoria, working with builders, project managers, subcontractors, suppliers and logistics partners.
We are seeking a full-time Contract Administrator to join our team and support the administration and coordination of our plaster installation and building supply projects.
About the Role
The Contract Administrator will assist with contract documentation, subcontractor coordination, project records, purchase orders, quotations, invoices, delivery records and project progress updates. The role will work closely with the Director, project managers, plaster contractors, builders, suppliers and internal staff.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and maintain contract-related documents, including subcontractor work orders, purchase orders, quotations, invoices, delivery records and project correspondence.
Assist in reviewing project scope, pricing, delivery requirements, payment terms, site requirements and variations.
Coordinate with project managers, plaster contractors, builders, suppliers and logistics providers regarding project schedules, material availability and outstanding works.
Maintain accurate project files, contractor records, order records, delivery records and payment-related documentation.
Monitor project progress and provide internal updates on contractor attendance, completed works, delivery issues and matters requiring approval.
Assist management with information required for quotations, subcontractor engagement, supplier coordination and project planning.
Respond to project, contractor and customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure administrative work is completed in accordance with company procedures and workplace requirements.
About you
Experience in contract administration, project administration, construction administration or a related role.
Good understanding of construction, building materials or subcontractor coordination.
Strong attention to detail and document management skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with contractors, suppliers and internal staff.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up outstanding matters.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in large complex projects will be highly regarded.
