Minor Works Project Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Minor Works Project Lead to join our team, delivering HVAC fit-out projects within operational environments.

This is a highly targeted role, and only candidates who meet the essential criteria will be considered.

Reporting to the Minor Works Manager, you will be responsible for supervising HVAC projects ranging from $400K to $900K, ensuring delivery within live, operational buildings while maintaining safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

You will act as the primary point of contact for project delivery, coordinating subcontractors, managing site activities, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate HVAC works on-site
• Manage safety, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities
• Maintain strong client communication throughout project lifecycle
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards
• Oversee subcontractors and site activities
• Promote and enforce safe work practices

Desired Skills and Experience

• Strong experience delivering HVAC projects within the Brisbane market
• Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising HVAC projects (off the tools)
• Proven experience delivering HVAC-only projects valued between $400K - $900K
• Strong background in fit-outs within operational / live environments (no greenfield/site builds)
• Trade-qualified HVAC background ONLY
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems and delivery in live environments
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
