Business Systems & Assurance Coordinator

We are seeking a Business Systems & Assurance Coordinator to support internal assurance activities, business management system compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. This role partners closely with stakeholders to identify risks, close compliance gaps, strengthen controls, and drive better business outcomes.

• Coordinate internal audits, assurance activities and corrective actions to improve compliance and controls.
• Support and enhance certified business management systems, governance processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to identify risks, gaps and opportunities for operational improvement.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance, you will help deliver the internal audit program, monitor audit findings and corrective actions, support business management system certification requirements, and contribute to process improvement and governance activities across the organisation. What You'll Bring

• Experience in assurance, governance, compliance, audit or business improvement environments.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and a completer-finisher mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in utilities, risk management systems or compliance frameworks will be highly regarded.
