About the role
Land & Sea Services are a leading provider of electrical and electronic services (marine and onshore) - delivering innovative and reliable solutions to meet the demands of the maritime (commercial and recreational), defence, oil and gas, resources, construction and residential sectors.
The Role
We are looking for experienced Electrician(s) to join our growing team. Your key responsibilities will include:
Performing diagnostic work and related repair of electrical systems (12/24vDC and 240vAC).
Interpreting electrical wiring diagrams.
Installing battery, solar, inverter and switchboard installations.
Installing and servicing navigation, communication, radar and control systems on a variety of commercial and recreational vessels.
Assisting in new boat builds.
Performing diagnostic work and related repair to the Aid to Navigation (AtoN) network throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

Is willing to work away from home overnight on an adhoc basis as required to meet our clients needs (allowances payable in addition to hourly and penalty rates).
Must be prepared to work away from home overnight 10-25% of the time to meet client requirements.
To Succeed
You will be part of a small and growing team who are very supportive and view success as a team outcome rather than an individual triumph. For us to achieve our goals it is necessary for you to possess and/or be able to demonstrate:
West Australian A-Grade Electrical Licence.
Current Nationally Accredited Competency (or the willingness to attain it) for Performing First Aid, CPR, Low Voltage Rescue and Work at Heights.
3-5 years experience (marine experience highly regarded).
The confidence and ability to diagnose faults.
The ability to communicate clearly and accurately with client representatives.
Working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 3004.
Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
Ability to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance.
Current and valid Australian Driver's Licence (manual).
