About the role

Priceline Pharmacy Dapto is seeking an experienced and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Dapto NSW 2530, this is an excellent opportunity to work in a patient-focused pharmacy environment where you'll play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare services to our local community. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications whilst providing expert pharmaceutical advice to patients and healthcare professionals. Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispensing medications according to prescriptions and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and standards

• Providing expert pharmaceutical advice to patients regarding their medications, including usage, side effects, and potential interactions

• Conducting medication therapy reviews and identifying opportunities to optimise patient outcomes

• Maintaining accurate pharmacy records and managing inventory control and stock rotation

• Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including GPs and other allied health providers, to ensure optimal patient care

• Supervising pharmacy support staff and providing training where necessary

• Ensuring compliance with Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) regulations and other relevant legislation

• Managing a busy pharmacy counter and prioritising patient safety at all times

• Providing vaccinations and health screening services as per your qualifications and scope of practice

What we're looking for

• A valid Australian pharmacy degree and registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia

• Current professional indemnity insurance and a commitment to maintaining professional development requirements

• Several years of experience working as a pharmacist in a community pharmacy setting

• Strong knowledge of Australian pharmaceutical legislation, including the Therapeutic Goods Administration and pharmacy practice standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex pharmaceutical information clearly to patients

• A patient-focused approach with a commitment to providing quality healthcare and exceptional customer service

• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and computer technology

• The ability to work independently whilst being a supportive team player

• Accreditation or willingness to obtain accreditation in areas such as vaccinations, minor ailments, or health screening would be advantageous
