The RoleWe're a startup, so expect to be doing some random stuff from time to time. But generally, you'll be doing the following:
You'll manage real client relationships and campaigns. Not just executing tasks handed down from above, you'll be the person clients hear from, and you'll be accountable for how their accounts perform.
You'll build strategies for 2027, not 2007. SEO and search are changing fast: AI Overviews, LLM driven search, GEO. Help us stay at the forefront of the SEO world.
You'll keep client websites sharp. Hands on updates across WordPress, Shopify, and similar platforms.
You'll help build the team, not just join it. As we grow, you'll collaborate with and help train other team members. We're looking for someone who wants to shape our agency, not just be a part of it.
What You'll DoManage SEO strategy and execution across a portfolio of clients: keyword research, on page and technical optimisation, content strategy, and reportingBuild and optimise Google Ads campaigns, including monitoring, testing, and performance reportingDevelop GEO/AI search strategies, helping clients show up in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, not just traditional rankingsRun competitor and market research to uncover growth opportunities most agencies missOwn client communication: regular updates via email and calls, not just backend deliveryMake hands on website updates (WordPress, Shopify, or similar) tied to SEO and CRO improvementsTurn data (GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs/Semrush) into clear, actionable recommendationsCollaborate with and help train other team members as the agency growsStay ahead of algorithm updates and AI search shifts, and actually test what works, not just read about it
Who You Are / What You'll BringYou've got around 1-2 years of SEO experience (looking for someone who knows the basics and wants to grow!)Curious and keen to build a career in searchA people person who wants to be part of the team and build strong relationships with your clientsYou take ownership. You want real client relationships and real accountability, not just tickets to work throughYou take the work seriously, but not yourself. Good instincts, fun to be around
You'll also bring:Familiarity with tools like GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush, and Screaming FrogWorking understanding of technical SEO fundamentals: site structure, crawlability, indexationComfort working directly in CMS platforms like WordPress or ShopifyStrong written and verbal communication skills
