Brassall Kids Early Learning Centre is a BRAND NEW purpose-built, Reggio Emilia inspired centre.  It is set to be a vibrant, engaging place where children can explore, discover, and thrive.  This beautifully designed centre boasts 6 amazing studios, each thoughtfully crafted to cater to the diverse needs and imaginations of children. 

Families and children at Brassall Kids Early Learning Centre will have access to various play spaces, including multiple atelier spaces, children's stage, cenare' (children's dining space) relaxation retreats, flexible learning spaces and an adventure playground.  

We are participating in the Worker Retention Payment Grant! If successful you will receive an additional payment on top of your above award pay rate.

We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate Centre Manager to join our amazing team of professionals. The successful applicant will have ongoing support from an experienced management team including an onsite Assistant Centre Manager and a Portfolio Manager. This is of course coupled with ample Professional Development opportunities to ensure quality implementation of the Reggio Emilia approach.

The successful applicant will:

• Hold a Diploma of Children's Services

• Show a clear understanding and knowledge of the NQF (National Quality Framework) and QKLG (Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines) 

• Have previous experience in a similar role 

• Possess excellent communication, organisation and time management skills

• Hold or be willing to obtain a current suitability card 

• First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training and be competently aware and understand the assessment and rating processes

• Show a genuine interest in the Reggio Emilia approach 

The successful applicant will:

• Understand and adhere to all Queensland Childcare requirements including the NQF, NQS, EYLF and MTOP.

• Show excellent leadership qualities, be proactive and utilise their remarkable people skills.

• Set high standards for staff and centre performance by nurturing staff morale.

• Be capable of working autonomously.

• Possess strong written and verbal skills.

Also hopefully will:

• Express a genuine passion or interest in the Reggio Emilia philosophy.

• Previous experience with a new centre build.

• Experience using Kidsoft software is advantageous but not essential.
