About the role
The Anaesthetic Healthcare Practitioner (Technician) Trainee provides clinical support within the Department of Anaesthesia and Perfusion Services at The Prince Charles Hospital while undertaking the Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology through a recognised training provider. The role offers valuable hands-on experience and clinical exposure to support the development of knowledge, skills and competencies required for a career in anaesthetic technology.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Anaesthetists, Anaesthetic Healthcare Practitioners and Clinical Educators to assist with the safe conduct of anaesthetic procedures across elective and emergency settings. The role contributes to the delivery of high-quality patient care through preparation of the anaesthetic environment, equipment management, participation in safety processes and active involvement within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
