Location: Melbourne CBD or Sydney CBD Hybrid

We’re looking for a senior NetSuite Solution Architect who can take ownership of complex, end-to-end customer solutions – from shaping the approach in pre-sales through to ensuring successful delivery. This is not a design-through-documentation role, you’ll be accountable for outcomes.

This is a highly senior specialist role requiring a minimum of:

10+ years hands on NetSuite consulting experience5+ years owning end-to-end solution architectureDemonstrated experience delivering complex, integrated solutions across multiple modules and systemsStrong stakeholder engagement at senior finance and operations levels

The role

The solution architect leads end-to-end solution design across new and existing client engagements, working from pre-sales through to delivery to make sure the right solution gets designed, scoped and built. You’ll be the primary design authority across the full project lifecycle, accountable for solution quality and customer outcomes from first conversation to go-live.

Day to day, you’ll be running workshops, building solution design documentation, working alongside project managers and technical consultants and maintaining peer-level relationships with customer stakeholders. The goal is a customer who feels like you understood their business, a solution that performs and projects that close within scope.

What You’ll Do

Solution design – research and understand each customer’s business model and goals, then design a NetSuite solution that meets their requirementsExpert guidance – provide clear, authoritative advice on solution options and the outcomes they’ll achieveWorkshop facilitation – set agendas and run solution design workshops to gather requirements and drive documentation forwardDocumentation – produce solution design artefacts to Annexa’s standards, written clearly enough for the customer and comprehensive enough for the delivery teamTechnical collaboration – work with the technical team to design bespoke solutions, providing business process input, validation and deployment supportEstimates and SOWs – develop scoping estimates and statements of work and present them to customers for sign-offProject oversight – manage delivery in collaboration with project managers, coordinating functional, technical and third-party resources to keep projects on track within budget, scope and scheduleRisk management – identify risks and issues early, contribute to mitigation strategies and manage assigned actions through to resolutionPre-sales support – work alongside account managers and business development managers to support the sales process with solution expertiseProcess improvement – identify and recommend improvements to ways of working, both for customers and internally

What You’ll Bring

This role suits someone who builds credibility through the quality of their questions, works well with senior business stakeholders and can hold a complicated engagement together from design through to delivery.

10+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience across implementation, solution design and consulting – essential5+ years leading end-to-end integrated solution designAdvanced understanding of NetSuite ERP across core modules, process areas (Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash) and third-party integrationsStrong working knowledge of core accounting principles and common business processesDemonstrated experience delivering solutions across multiple verticalsAbility to build peer-level relationships with finance and operations stakeholders and architect solutions around their strategic goalsClear, precise written and verbal communication – your documentation is thorough, accurate and written for the audience in front of youBachelor’s degree in Business, IT or Business Information Systems, or equivalent experience

You’ll be someone who can walk into a customer environment, get across it quickly and design something that works for where they’re going.
