Flow Excavations is a growing civil construction business based in Novar Gardens. We specialise in underground utility installations and are continually diversifying our skills in all aspects of civil construction. With ongoing contracts on the NBN N2P program and other Infrastruture projects, we provide a friendly and motivated team that has the endeavours of a successful future. The director strives to create a positive work environment within the team and build on each individual employees skills to progress their career.

The successful candidate must be safety-focused, reliable and willing to assist with all aspects of the job. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is eager to contribute both inside and outside the machine.

Qualifications & experience

• Preferably have at least 3 years experience in the Civil Construction industry

• Experience working on the NBN project undertaking pit upgrades and conduit installation

• Work zone traffic management ticket advantageous

• White card

• Minimum MR truck license

• Ability to interpret plans and problem solve

• Minimum 3+ years excavator operating experience required

• Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen

Tasks & responsibilities

• Operating vac trucks

• Operating tipper trucks

• Daily site set up

• Working safely and efficently within a team and individually

• Undertaking pre start safety checks on all plant and equipment

• Able to complete JSA`s, Hazard ID`s & Risk assesments through our online portals

• Report progress daily to site supervisor

• Installation of NBN pits and conduit

• Pipe proving and conduit repairs

• Undertake minor paving, concreting and bitumen reinstatement
