Project Manager (P05)

Osborne Richardson are delighted to offer a rare contract opportunity for a Senior Civil Project Manager to join the pre-construction delivery team of a major South East Queensland road authority, based in the Nerang/Gold Coast corridor — one of the fastest-growing regions in the state. This is a high-profile role within a busy program of state-controlled road infrastructure works, spanning everything from business case through detailed design to construction-ready documentation.

The Role
Reporting to the Team Leader (Pre-Construction), you'll take ownership of key components of the region's road infrastructure program end-to-end — managing design, tendering and procurement, and contract administration through to issue-for-construction. You'll act as Representative of the Principal across project phases, provide senior engineering input into design and construction decisions, run tender assessment and contract award processes, and keep budgets, quality and stakeholders firmly on track. There's genuine scope to shape outcomes on a program that matters — with the political and stakeholder complexity that comes with a fast-growing region.

What You'll Bring

• Four-year Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), Washington Accord accredited (or Engineers Australia-recognised equivalent)
• Current RPEQ registration (mandatory — no exceptions)
• Minimum 15 years' experience delivering transport infrastructure projects
• Current Class C driver's licence
• Construction induction (White Card)
• Ability to pass a criminal history check (mandatory due to access to sensitive data)

The Details

• 12-month contract with two further 12-month extension options (3 year total)
• Competitive hourly rate, up to circa $150/hr + Super
• Nerang-based, supporting one of Queensland's busiest road delivery regions
