We are looking for an experienced Dressmaker / Machinist to join our team and work within our bridal alterations department.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced bridal dressmaker who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship and attention to detail. You will be responsible for alterations and garment construction across a range of luxury wedding gowns, working with delicate and high-quality fabrics, lace, beading and intricate construction techniques.

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 8-10 years experience working in bridal dressmaking or alterations

• Strong knowledge of garment construction and the ability to confidently alter ready-to-wear wedding gowns

• Intermediate to advanced dressmaking and sewing skills

• Proficient in the use of industrial sewing machines

• Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship

• Strong understanding of luxury bridal garment construction, fabrics and finishing techniques

• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member

• Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality

• A professional and positive attitude with a genuine passion for bridalwear

Experience working with couture gowns, lace, beading, corsetry and delicate fabrics will be highly regarded.
