About the Role: 
Banquets at QT isn't just feeding a room - it's delivering the theatre. From intimate weddings to large-scale galas and daily delegate packages (DDP), you'll lead the kitchen behind every plated moment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead food production across weddings, galas, corporate events, and DDP - consistently on-brand, consistently excellent 
•    Design menus that scale across events of varying size without losing QT's edge
•    Own kitchen readiness against run sheets and event briefs - timing, plating, presentation, every time 
•    Partner with Conferencing & Events and Banquet Operations for seamless execution from brief to service 
•    Manage food costs, budgets, and stock control across a fast-moving events calendar 
•    Build and lead a kitchen team that performs under the pressure of back-to-back functions 
•    Maintain food safety, hygiene, and OH&S standards across all prep and service

What You’ll Bring:
•    Proven leadership in a banquets or events kitchen - weddings and conferencing experience a strong plus 
•    A creative eye that treats every event as a chance to impress 
•    Calm, decisive leadership when timelines are tight and stakes are high 
•    Sharp budget instincts without compromising the guest experience 
•    A collaborative style - you'll be tight with C&E, banquet ops, and F&B
