About the role
Brisbane based All Fleet Service & Repairs will be expanding in North Queensland and is looking for an experienced Field Service Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to lead our Townsville service operations.
This is different to a normal workshop role—you'll work independently, build customer relationships, and help grow our regional presence, backed by a family-owned business with over 30 years of industry experience.
About the RoleBased in Mt St John, Townsville, you'll provide mobile servicing, diagnostics, repairs and breakdown support for heavy trucks and trailers across Townsville and surrounding regions.
Your onboarding includes:
1 week training in Brisbane, then
1 week of local support before taking ownership of your territory
Occasional after-hours breakdown call-outs and regional travel are required. Overtime and penalty rates apply.

Deliver excellent customer service while working independently
You'll have:
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
3+ years' heavy vehicle mechanic experience
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Current driver's licence (HR licence or willingness to obtain)
Good communication skills
Commitment to safety, quality and customer service
