About the role
CST is a well-established Australian company specialising in conveyor belt weighing systems for the mining industry.
We are looking for a Service Technician to join our growing WA team.
This is a hands-on role working across major mine sites and ports, supporting installation, calibration, and maintenance of weighing systems. If you enjoy practical work, problem solving, and being out on site — this role is for you.

Company-covered work expenses (e.g. travel, taxis, and phone use)
Calibration, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment
Extra low voltage electrical testing
Installation and parts fitting
Producing clear and accurate service reports
Sending electronic data from site
Contributing to continuous improvement
Working within a structured QA system
Interest in mechanical and electrical work
(experience fixing cars or similar is highly regarded)
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Good communication and customer service skills
Able to work independently and in a team
Physically capable and comfortable working on site
Site-based work across WA mining operations
Shutdown work (not a fixed roster) but full time contracted
Travel required: typically 3–14 days at a time
Office-based work in Osborne Park when required
Current “C” Class driver’s licence
Full working rights in Australia (valid work visas accepted)
Ability to pass medical, drug & alcohol testing
