Disability Support Worker

Support Worker Wanted – Nundah (SIL Home)

We’re looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team supporting three wonderful ladies aged in their 50s and 60s living together in a supported independent living home in Nundah.

• 8-hour shifts available + sleepovers
• Stable, ongoing roster (no travel between clients)
• SCHADS Award pay + penalties
• Female applicants preferred due to personal care requirements

About the role:

This is a really rewarding opportunity to become a consistent and trusted part of these ladies’ lives. You’ll support them with personal care, mealtime and medication support, mobility and community access, and help keep the household running smoothly — because a happy, well-functioning home is at the heart of everything we do.

Most importantly, you’ll help build a good life for these ladies by encouraging their independence, nurturing their routines and supporting them to enjoy the things they love.

About you:

You genuinely care about the people you support — not just as a job, but as a calling. You’re warm, reliable and proactive, with a calm and respectful approach. You thrive in a home environment and take pride in helping create a positive and supportive atmosphere for everyone in the house.

You’ll need:

Experience in disability/NDIS

First Aid & CPR

NDIS Worker Screening Check & Blue Card

Driver’s licence & reliable car

Cert III/IV in Individual Support or similar
