Pool Lifeguard (Summer Season)

Are you a Pool Lifeguard with a positive, hardworking attitude? Then we are looking for you! 

We are currently hiring for the 2026 - 2027 Summer season, casual employment will be from October 2026 to 31 March 2027.

As a Stonnington Pool Lifeguard at the iconic Harold Holt Swim Centre and Prahran Aquatic Centre, you’ll play a vital role in providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for our community.  Candidates need to be available to work a variety of shifts across weekends, evenings and early mornings.

In this role you will:

• Provide effective supervision of aquatic facilities to ensure the safety of all facility users
• Have the ability to remain vigilant, focused, and responsive always
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to educate, enforce rules, and respond to incidents as needed

The hourly rate is $45.34 per hour (includes casual loading) + 12% superannuation.

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

• Current Pool Lifeguard qualification 
• Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificate
• Current EMPLOYEE Working with Children Check
