Service Station Site Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager - Petrol, Oil Warehouse & Takeaway to join Marano’s Fuel Cairns. This is a full-time position based on-site at our Draper Street Site. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the oil warehouse, petrol station, and takeaway facilities.  Site offers takeaway food and meals, and experience/qualifications in the food industry would be highly desirable.

This role requires a “hands-on” approach and will involve all aspects of site management including, but not limited to:

• Staff management/ recruitment and training

• Manage cash handling/daily reconciliations

• Complete staff rostering to budgeted hours

• Maintain stock levels and manage inventory across petrol, convenience products, oils and takeaway items, ensuring optimal stock rotation and minimising wastage

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business

• Workplace health & safety compliance

• Assist customers with loading/delivering of oil orders

• Maintain cleanliness, presentation and safety standards throughout the store, forecourt and takeaway areas

What we’re looking for:

• Excellent communication skills with ability to work with employees/external Trade Partners

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities 

• High level computer skills 

• Problem solving skills and time management skills

• Proven experience in retail store management, ideally within a petrol station, convenience store or similar multi-faceted retail environment

• Current unrestricted Queensland Driver’s License

• Forklift Licence (preferable) 

• Extensive knowledge of oil and lubricant products

• Flexibility in work hours/ may require after hours availability

• Physically fit
