What you'll be doing

In this diverse and influential role, you'll work closely with leaders and stakeholders to:

• Provide expert advice on workplace safety, psychosocial risk and psychological safety.
• Support leaders to identify, manage and mitigate workplace risks before they become issues.
• Guide the management of complex people matters including workplace conflict, grievances, conduct concerns and respectful workplace issues.
• Support injury management and return-to-work processes with a focus on recovery, wellbeing and sustainable outcomes.
• Analyse trends, incidents and organisational data to identify opportunities for prevention and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to risk reporting, governance activities and organisational assurance processes.
• Build leader capability through coaching, education and practical support.
• Help strengthen a culture of care, resilience, accountability and psychological prosperity.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strong judgement, empathy and influence.

You will have:

• Experience in workplace safety, people risk, employee relations, wellbeing, HR or a related advisory role.
• Strong knowledge of WHS principles, psychosocial risk management and workplace relations.
• The ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism, discretion and care.
• Experience coaching and supporting leaders through people and culture challenges.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive, prevention-focused mindset with the ability to identify risks and strengthen systems.
• Relevant qualifications in WHS, Human Resources, Psychology, Employment Relations or a related field.

Selection Criteria - Applicants are required to address the selection criteria within their cover letter, with clear examples of relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.

• Demonstrated experience providing advice and support on complex people risk and workplace relations matters, including employee conduct issues, workplace conflict, grievances, investigations, and respectful workplace concerns, while balancing organisational risk with employee wellbeing.
• Proven capability in workplace health and safety, including psychosocial risk management and psychological safety, with experience identifying, assessing and implementing strategies to mitigate workplace risks and improve safety outcomes.
• Strong advisory, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships, influence leaders, and support confident decision-making across people, safety and wellbeing matters.
• Experience contributing to prevention-focused initiatives, continuous improvement and organisational risk management, including the use of data, insights, reporting or governance activities to strengthen workplace culture, safety, wellbeing and organisational performance.
