Administration & Customer Service Officer

This is a full-time role located in an industrial area with no access to public transport, so your own reliable transport is essential.

What You'll Do:
- Answer customer calls and provide great service
- Enter customer orders and create sales orders in Xero
- Arrange transport and obtain freight quotes
- Provide pricing information to customers
- Create purchase orders and process invoicing, managing debtors
- Record stocktake information
- Complete general office duties
- Manage import administration, liaise with supplier and customs brokers

Xero Finance Tasks:
- Reconcile foreign currency payments
- Month-end accounts payable
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Cost allocations
- Credit card reconciliation
- Fortnightly payroll
- Xero journals

What You'll Bring:
- Strong customer service and phone manner
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Honest, reliable and proactive approach
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- 1-2 years of experience in administration or customer service roles
- Australian permanent residency required

Desirable Skills:
- Basic Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Comfortable with simple CHEP pallet admin
- Familiarity with Xero or similar platforms
- Basic understanding of transport/logistics
