Traffic Management Operatives
We are hiring 12AB Operatives, Foremen, and IPV Operatives
Location: Penrith, Cumbria
Hours: Shifts will include both day and night working on a rotating shift pattern; must be flexible for weekend work. Overtime is also available.
This is a 12-month fixed term position.
Salary: Full potential earnings - £180.96 per shift depending on location and experience, plus benefits and overtime opportunity.

Your role as a 12ab Traffic Management Operative
As a Key Member Of Our Team, You Will
Assist and advise managers to help schemes run smoothly and efficientlyOversee and coordinate a crew, ensuring roles are carried out safely and project objectives are achieved Undertake traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near missesHelp and guide new trainees
What are we looking for?
Essential
Qualification: 12a/b, Foreman and IPV qualificationKnowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulationsDriving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years agoSafety: Candidates must hold a valid safety-critical medical certificateTesting: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results)Attitude: Positive, “can-do” mindsetSkills: Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail
