What You’ll Do:Step into the heart of Protiviti's Internal Audit and Financial Advisory team as a nurturing Associate Director, where your insight and care will help shape Australia’s leading organisations. Your role is pivotal in our commitment to a supportive environment that cherishes collaborative success and tailored advisory services.
Embrace your role with us, where you'll:Develop, progress and convert business development opportunitiesManage a diverse portfolio of clients and engagements across key industry groupsEffectively manage and develop relationships with senior client stakeholdersDraw on technical and industry insights to deliver tailored products and solutions to our clientsLead, manage and mentor teams to deliver internal audit and risk consulting work plansOversee job economics and ensure timely closure and billing of client projectsEnhance Protiviti’s market presence and exposure to develop opportunities with new clientsAssist the Engagement Managing Director in managing engagement quality and riskServe as a role model to team members by demonstrating service excellence and supporting the development of their technical and professional competenciesIntroduce next generation internal audit and risk management concepts to our clientsParticipate in recruiting activities to support overall Protiviti business objectives
To flourish in this role, we seek:A minimum of 8 years' experience in industry or consulting roles.Proven ability to nurture effective client relationships.A track record of leading teams combined with proven business development skills.A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience is essential.Academic achievements such as a degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related fields. Professional certifications like CA, CPA, CIA, CISA are treasured.A thorough grasp of internal control concepts (COSO, COBIT), risk management frameworks and auditing practices.Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance is welcomed but not mandatory.Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to nurture client relationships through empathetic engagement.Leadership skills that embody empowerment focused on elevating those around you.
