The Institute of Culinary Excellence is looking for a passionate and experienced hospitality professional to join our team as a Culinary Trainer and Assessor.
This role offers an opportunity to share your industry knowledge, support the next generation of hospitality professionals and enjoy a rewarding new direction.
About the roleAs a Culinary Trainer and Assessor, you’ll work with students to develop the practical skills, confidence and professional standards they need to succeed in the hospitality industry.
You’ll bring real-world kitchen experience into the training environment, delivering engaging, relevant and supportive learning experiences while maintaining the high standards ICE is known for.
About youWe’re looking for someone who:
Holds a Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or an equivalent recognised cookery qualification
Holds a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a higher or successor qualification
Has current and relevant commercial cookery experience
Is passionate about sharing their knowledge and supporting others to succeed
Communicates clearly and works well with students from diverse backgrounds
Is organised, reliable and committed to quality training and assessment
Approaches their work with integrity, professionalism and care
Is open to new opportunities and continued professional development
Previous training experience would be valued, but just as importantly, we’re looking for someone with strong industry knowledge, a genuine desire to teach and a commitment to excellence.
