Exciting opportunity to join Humpty Doo Dental’s growing team!
We are seeking a friendly, motivated Dental Assistant to join our busy, modern multi-chair practice. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment and being part of a supportive professional team.
About Humpty Doo Dental
We are a privately owned multi-chair practice located in Darwin's rural area with normal operating hours of 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday only.
You will be part of a team that strives to provide an excellent standard of care in both general and paediatric dentistry. Our passionate and supportive clinicians have a strong focus on making anxious patients feel comfortable and at ease in the dental setting whilst achieving positive dental outcomes for our patients. We also pride ourselves on fostering a positive workplace culture.
The role will include:
- Chairside assistance across a range of general and paediatric dental procedures including the use of nitrous oxide
- Preparing and sterilising instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Setting up, cleaning down and general upkeep of surgeries
- Assisting with patient care before, during and after treatment
- Helping to maintain accurate clinical records
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy practice
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III/IV in Dental Assisting highly desirable or previous experience preferred
Experience with Dental 4 Windows is preferred but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A professional, empathetic approach to patient care
Ability to work efficiently in a multi-chair environment
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
