Integrated Logistics Support | Federal Government & Defence Projects

SAHR is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) professionals and Logistics Specialists for full-time permanent opportunities supporting current and upcoming Defence and Federal Government programs. We partner with government agencies, prime contractors, and industry leaders to deliver specialised logistics, engineering, technical, and project delivery capability across some of Australia's most complex and strategically significant programs.

The Opportunity

As part of SAHR's growing Program & Technical service line, you will contribute to the delivery of Defence and Federal Government capability programs across acquisition, sustainment, asset management, logistics support analysis, and whole-of-life capability management activities.

Our engagements provide the opportunity to work closely with Defence stakeholders, program offices, capability managers, and industry partners on critical national capability initiatives.

• Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)

• Logistics Management

• Sustainment Planning and Management

• Logistics Support Analysis (LSA)

• Maintenance Planning and Support System Development

• Technical Documentation and Technical Data Management

• Configuration Management

• Asset Management and Sustainment

• Supply Support and Inventory Management

• Training Needs Analysis and Training System Development

• Supportability Analysis

• Capability Acquisition and Sustainment

• Engineering and Logistics Assurance

• Defence Materiel Lifecycle Management

Who We’re Looking For

We are keen to speak with candidates at the following levels:

• Senior Consultant (2–5 years’ experience)

• Manager (5+ years’ experience)

About You

You will bring:

• Experience in Integrated Logistics Support, sustainment, logistics, asset management, or a related discipline

• Demonstrated experience supporting major capital acquisition projects and/or sustainment programs

• Experience in one or more of:

  • Defence or Federal Government environments

  • Defence Industry organisations

  • Complex asset-intensive industries

  • Consulting or advisory services

• Knowledge of ILS frameworks, logistics support analysis methodologies, or Defence sustainment practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Experience developing logistics support concepts, logistics plans, supportability assessments, sustainment strategies, business cases, technical documentation, or lifecycle management artefacts

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• The ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project, engineering, and logistics teams.

Security Clearance

• NV1 or higher required (Baseline considered depending on role and project)
