Technical Fabricator

About the role

Aymroo is looking for an experienced Level 3 Technical Fabricator to join our manufacturing team in Ingleburn. This is a hands-on, highly skilled fabrication role for someone who can confidently work across cutting, belling, glassing, welding and assembly, while also interpreting CAD drawings and technical specifications to manufacture bespoke and one-off products. As a Level 3 Technical Fabricator at Aymroo, you will play an important role in ensuring our products are manufactured accurately, tested correctly and meet our high standards for quality and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble products in accordance with drawings, specifications and production requirements
• Perform cutting, belling, glassing and welding operations
• Interpret CAD drawings and technical specifications to determine the correct fabrication methods, materials and assembly sequence
• Manufacture bespoke and custom products from CAD drawings and customer requirements
• Complete quality inspections and testing to ensure products meet specification
• Identify and report quality issues and assist with resolving non-conformances
• Complete production and quality documentation
• Work closely with the production team to achieve scheduled output while maintaining quality standards
• Assist with the training, development and mentoring of Level 1 and Level 2 Fabricators
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment

About you

• Proven experience in PVC or plastic fabrication
• Strong practical skills in cutting, belling, glassing and welding
• The ability to interpret CAD drawings and technical plans
• Experience manufacturing custom, bespoke or one-off products
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• The ability to carry out inspection and QC testing
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• A strong understanding of workplace health and safety
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• A willingness to support and mentor less experienced team members
