We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager who knows how to bring energy to a team, drive results on the floor and build capability in others. You’ll work side by side with your Store Manager, but your real focus is the team! Coaching, developing and lifting performance every day.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Leading from the floor—driving sales, momentum and team energy day to day

• Coaching and developing a young, fast-moving team to build confidence, capability and strong work habits

• Building team capability through on the floor coaching and real time feedback

• Supporting the Store Manager in making smart people-focused decisions around performance and development

• Keeping the team engaged, motivated and aligned to store goals and expectations

• Using data and insight (including tools like Power BI and RFID) to understand performance, stock flow and opportunities

• Staying close to the customer—understanding what they want, what’s missing and feeding that back into the business

• Making confident, fast decisions on the floor and solving problems as they come up

• Bringing the Glassons brand to life through strong customer experience, team leadership, and a high-energy shop floor presence

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail Store Manager role preferably within the fashion industry

• Management level experience in retail positions is acceptable, including Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or equivalent leadership roles

• Experience in a retail leadership role (Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager or similar)

• A strong track record of driving sales and hitting KPIs

• Someone who is confident leading from the front and developing others not just managing tasks

• Clear, direct communicator who can connect with a younger team and keep things simple and focused

• Strong commercial thinking—you understand what drives results and how to influence them

• Comfortable working with data, reporting and retail systems (PowerBI experience a bonus)

• High energy, adaptable and able to keep up with a fast-moving environment

• A natural problem solver who can think on their feet

• Flexible to work across weekends and peak periods

• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full work rights in Australia
