About the role

We are seeking a candidate who has just completed an ASIC Professional Standards Approved Degree who is looking at entering the Financial Planning industry as a Paraplanner to kickstart their pathway to becoming a Financial Adviser within the company over a 2-3 year period which incorporates the mandatory Professional Year.
About the Role:
In this multifaceted position, your key responsibilities will include:
Crafting advice documents aligned with the specified "Scope of advice" to meet clients' needs, objectives, and compliance requirements.
Vigilant research on changes to products, services, legislation, and strategy options.
Collaborating with Advisers in managing client relationships.
Conducting peer checks on Statements of Advice (SOAs) for accuracy and completeness in adherence to advice requirements and compliance.
Assessing client risk adversity and translating client needs and objectives into the scope of advice.
Working closely with Client Services Officers to implement new and ongoing business, including follow-ups with fund managers and life offices when necessary.
As your confidence and capability in SOA writing grows, you will have the opportunity to attend client appointments.
To excel in this role, you must:
Have some understanding of Xplan. Thorough training in Xplan will be provided.
Possess a good understanding of various products, services, and strategies, including legislation and tax implications.
